Registration fee

Registration for the International School costs 500 Euro. This fee covers the cost of all training, including certification and all programme activities, along with refreshments and some food and drink. The following are included in the fee:


  • All teaching activities
  • Mid-morning/afternoon refreshments (tea/coffee/fresh drinks and small snacks)
  • Welcome mixer with drinks and snacks
  • Final School dinner (including some drinks)
  • Excursion to a local nature reserve including transport and entrance

The fee does NOT include travel to Almería, hotel accommodation, or travel from your hotel to the School each day.



Registration has been kept as low as possible to make the course affordable. Participants from Low- and Middle- Income Countries, Spain and Portugal can apply for financial support with their tuition directly from the University of Almería. This process is handled by the University and whilst we can advise you on the process, we unfortunately are not included in any decisions. According to the University of Almería's policies, European and non-European students can apply for financial support (the policy can be read here in Spanish: https://www.ual.es/estudios/gestionesacademicas/becas/ayudasestudio). Registration process

Registration for the Internacional School is a 2-step process using a standard registration website via the University of Almería's official website. You must first 'pre-register' ('Preinscripción') (from 15th to 29th September 2024) and pay a deposit (150 EUR,refundable until the 1st October 2024). After this date, we will publish a provisional list of admitted students (2nd October 2024) following a period for administrative checks (from 3rd to 4th October 2024). The final list of admitted students will be published on 8th October 2024. After this date, you will then be invited to complete your registration ('Matrícula') (from 9th to 16th October 2024) and pay the outstanding registration fee (350 EUR). If you cancel before this date, you will be entitled to a full refund of your deposit. If you cancel after this date, we may be unable to issue a refund. Since the website is in Spanish, we have developed step-by-step instructions so that non-Spanish speakers can pre-register and register correctly and easily.
